Farringtons School – Education

SEA have been working with Farringtons School for a number of years, assisting with marketing collateral and the underpinning strategy.

Working with the school, SEA supported them in their decision to go co-ed, helping plan and implement a campaign to inform current parents by way of a presentation and video message from the Headteacher. We arranged for the video edit to be put live on the website at the same time as the presentation and worked with the school to encourage all parents to attend the presentation or visit the website, in order to minimise parents hearing from other sources. A creative advertising campaign was also rolled out to communicate the changes to the wider community.

Amongst other ideas, SEA introduced and successfully helped establish the idea of ‘Farringtons@home’ which aimed to strengthen relationships with parents by inviting them to attend regular evenings of art, music and food.

We also understand the importance open evenings play in the decision making process when choosing schools and were involved in planning for these sessions with the SMT.

In addition to consultancy services, SEA have undertaken website and prospectus projects for the school, using bespoke photography taken by our female, in-house photographer.

An interesting project for Farringtons was the signage project. We help lots of organisations with signage as it forms an important part of the impression of the brand, but as Farringtons School is situated in a conservation area, the project was complex, requiring planning approval for the works recommended. SEA played a pivotal role in securing planning permission, submitting detailed plans and liaising with the local council on behalf of the school. Approval was granted and we went on to artwork, produce and install the signs.

More recently, we have worked with the school to produce a number of videos (including aerial videography to capture their extensive grounds and facilities).

Our latest campaign uses cutting-edge augmented reality technology to trigger video content around the school and in their prospectus to bring the school to life. SEA planned, filmed and edited the content for a series of sixteen short videos.
