Canterbury Oast Trust – Charities

Canterbury Oast Trust support people with learning disabilities in the South East. Registered as a charity, they run a number of enterprises, including the Rare Breeds Centre near Ashford, which provides life skills and work opportunities for those the charity supports.

Open to the public, the farm was in need of better signposting from the main road and internally, in order to control traffic and speed and direct visitors to the car park.

Working with the team, SEA planned the visual approach and placement of signage. We were keen to consider how the signage reflected the rural surroundings and opted for wooden frames with decorative touches, such as a bespoke laser-cut metal finial to the main entrance signage. A series of co-ordinating banners were designed to promote activities throughout the year.

SEA oversaw production and installation of signage posts and graphics, using special material to withstand the elements.
