Rare Breeds Centre – Signage

A perfect family day out within 100 acres of beautiful unspoilt Kent countryside“.

The Rare Breeds Centre is not only a fantastic attraction, it is also home to the Canterbury Oast Trust, a charity which supports over 160 adults who have learning and physical disabilities.

SEA worked with both The Rare Breeds Centre and COT team members to plan and design their exterior signage. Our remit included the sites main entrance signage, car parking and traffic control signs.

As part of the brief, we considered ways in which to blend the signage seamlessly into the environment and as such decided that wooden frames would be most effective. Decorative touches were added, such as a bespoke laser-cut metal finial to the main entrance signage. A suite of banners were created to provide year round cover, highlighting key events in the calendar. As these signs would be exposed to the elements, wind slits and other features were added to increase durability.

As part of our service, SEA oversaw production and on-site installation.
