Hornby – Design

SEA were asked by Hornby to assist them ahead of the opening of the new Hornby Visitor Centre, Margate.

Hornby, famous for making miniature railway sets, and other household brands Corgi, Humbrol, Airfix and Scalextric wanted to share their full archive and rich history with enthusiasts and the public and SEA were delighted to be a part of that journey.

From the initial planning of the Centre, including detailing the floorplan layout, to the design, copywriting and artwork for every panel, SEA were involved in every aspect of the project. SEA also arranged the printing of each of the panels and oversaw installation, prior to the launch in June 2010.

Alongside the interior development of the Centre, SEA created the initial logo and promotional literature and supported the in-house PR team with numerous press releases to announce the launch of the Centre.
