Farringtons School – Signage

Above and beyond creating bespoke online and printed communications, SEA have a holistic approach with clients and it is often our commercial experience and pragmatic advice that adds value to our relationships.

With Farringtons School in Chislehurst, we suggested that the approach to the school could be made clearer by improving the existing signage. As the school is set in a conservation area and with strict planning laws, SEA set about creating detailed documents to submit to the local council’s planning department for approval. Our plans included heightening and enlarging the signs, adding an additional sign and cutting back trees and foliage – these were demonstrated with to-scale visuals and annotations.

SEA managed much of the research and correspondence with the council on behalf of the school and planning was permitted. Once we had approval from the council, SEA refined the designs, and managed production and installation of the signage, which are still in-situ today.
